Muertos y Marigolds is excited to host it’s 34th annual Dia de Los Muertos Procession, Celebration, Ofrenda Exhibit, and Workshop series. All of the workshops and events have material, artist, rental, equipment, and staffing costs that ultimately add up to be about $12,000 per year. We need your help and support to continue to share this longstanding series of events with the South Valley Community of Albuquerque, and to continue to empower the voices in our community through the arts with our programming.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The South Valley D\u00eda de los Muertos Celebration and Marigold Parade receives in-kind support from Bernalillo County and some community organizations. Over the last few years, in-kind support and organizational support has diminished due to budget cuts adopted by the state government and other agencies.<\/p>

We, the organizers of these much loved South Valley events, must now rely more and more on your donations of time and finances. In addition to your direct support, we are also interested in other funding opportunities.
